Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
This website is operated by EndGame Tactics SAS, a French simplified joint-stock company (société par actions simplifiée) with its registered office at 9 Rue Bernard Palissy, 63000 Clermont-Ferrand, France. For data protection purposes, EndGame Tactics SAS is the data controller responsible for your personal data when you use this website.
You can contact us regarding data protection matters at: [email protected] or by post at the address above.
2. Legal framework
This policy is written in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the General Data Protection Regulation, or GDPR), the French Data Protection Act (Loi Informatique et Libertés, as amended by Ordinance No. 2018-1125), and guidelines issued by the Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés (CNIL).
3. What personal data we collect and why
3.1 Contact form submissions
When you use the contact form on this website, we collect: your name, your email address, the subject of your message, and the content of your message. We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry. The legal basis for this processing is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR — processing necessary for the performance of a contract or to take steps at your request before entering into a contract — and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interests in responding to enquiries directed to us.
We retain contact form submissions for up to 24 months from the date of receipt, unless an ongoing relationship or legal obligation requires longer retention.
3.2 Newsletter subscriptions
If you subscribe to receive email updates, we collect your email address. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(a) GDPR — your freely given, specific, informed, and unambiguous consent. You may withdraw consent at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link included in every email, or by contacting us directly. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
3.3 Analytics and cookies
We use basic analytics to understand how this site is used. See our Cookie Policy for a detailed explanation of which cookies are set and how to manage them.
3.4 Server logs
Our hosting infrastructure automatically records standard server log data including IP addresses, browser type, referring URL, and pages visited. This data is retained for up to 90 days for security and operational purposes. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interests in maintaining the security and performance of the site.
4. Who we share data with
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data with third parties. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:
Service providers: We work with a small number of service providers (hosting infrastructure, email delivery) who process data on our behalf under data processing agreements compliant with Article 28 GDPR. These providers are contractually prohibited from using your data for their own purposes.
Legal obligations: We may disclose data where required by law, court order, or to comply with a legal obligation under French or EU law.
We do not transfer personal data outside the European Economic Area. If this changes, we will update this policy and implement appropriate safeguards as required by Chapter V GDPR.
5. Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the following rights with respect to your personal data:
Right of access (Article 15): You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Right to rectification (Article 16): You may request correction of inaccurate data or completion of incomplete data.
Right to erasure (Article 17): You may request deletion of your personal data where there is no lawful basis for continued retention.
Right to restriction of processing (Article 18): You may request that we limit how we use your data in certain circumstances.
Right to data portability (Article 20): Where processing is based on consent or contract and carried out by automated means, you may request your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
Right to object (Article 21): You may object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests. We will cease processing unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests.
Right to withdraw consent: Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within one month as required by Article 12 GDPR. We may request identity verification before fulfilling requests.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL (Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés), 3 Place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, France — www.cnil.fr.
6. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction, consistent with Article 32 GDPR. This includes encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all data transmitted to and from this site. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
